Yellow winged pigeon

It will have been dyed for some reason. Pigeon racers will sometimes do it to apparently try to prevent predation or it may help them spot their birds in a big flock. Some wedding organisers also use birds that have been coloured and I believe also a recent fad for funerals

Hi thanks for your reply this is a wild pigeon within a large flock of typical ones. It hasn't been ringed or anything. So might be a rare occurrence

I managed to get a better look its not dyed believe me. I'm keeping a good eye on her she is not very popular with the rest of the flock. I spoke to a pigeon fancier and he reckons its some sort of possible breeding thing. Not sure but plausible
