Like everyone we have lots about at the moment and also the colouring is so bright that I mistook one for a bull finch until I chech the picture.
OK it was a long way off......

Surprised the birds have not reached Wales yet but it's early days yet,the birds we have seen seem to be passing through rather than stopping around so may be going further North.

They've been around and singing for a week or so at least here in north-east Cornwall :)
Nah , they've been seen, but I'm cynical utill I see or heard them, but have seen images posted from same town, yesterday house and sand martin and swallows all photographed,
