....to protect my food for those I want to have it....
Does anyone have a cheap, excellent idea as to how I can keep the 'bigger birds' from my ground feeding foods please?
I want to put some mealworms and other bits for my tits etc but the starlings wiped them out last time i did. In seconds!
I am thinking maybe an unwanted dog crate over dishes with the food in..or upside down mesh storage trays....
Has anyone done something similar, with success?
Thank you
Have you looked on ebay for ideas, some quite reasonable prices on there too ...

Blue tits, and many other small birds are reluctant ground feeders anyway. They're also doing far better in UK than starlings.
