The pair showed up on 13th March & were checking out the nest - here's hoping..............
Have posted all I've taken today, unedited, as I'm so excited!!! They both flew off & now Mr Kestrel has returned to nest & sitting, waiting like a spider in the middle of a web! Just going to video him

Oh yes, it wouldn't do to pinch Dad's territory, don't want world war III breaking out LOL but if he is nearby you may be able to see him if he stays in the local quarry just two miles away :) this is such great news, I share your joy.

Kind regards, Ann
Fantastic news Wendy, proof that he is indeed surviving well and so near too. Well done to Tony to get the photo, can't wait to see it.
Lot to learn
Thanks all & Aiki, I too was very suprised that he managed a Dove - maybe it just died of natural causes right in front of him lol !!!
Excellent news.
Wendy what wonderful news, thank you so much. I am delighted to hear this. and I saw a kestrel the other day over a local by pass which was a first for quite a while. Saw it again on the way home. Thank you so much for keeping us updated with George and Mr K. And Edgebander the dove picture is very good :-)
Dove probably expired from exhaustion EB if your example is anything to go by - all that flapping about with a twig in it's beak!!!
And yes, I do feel sorry for it - but my boy's gotta eat!
Twig? ...Did you miss sunday school?..It was coming with its own cooking medium but the olives dropped off in flight :-)
Knew that remark would get you going EB ROFL!!
