The pair showed up on 13th March & were checking out the nest - here's hoping..............
Have posted all I've taken today, unedited, as I'm so excited!!! They both flew off & now Mr Kestrel has returned to nest & sitting, waiting like a spider in the middle of a web! Just going to video him

Even more strange behaviour by Mrs K - caught sight of her huddled up on cliff face just before dark in this terrible wind - just wonder why she isn't tucked up in her nest coddling eggs!!
Maybe she's claustrophibic lol !!!
Spotted Mrs K on cliff yesterday eating her 'brunch'... so I set the video recording & got this truly gory session (even worse than the last one!)...
Saw Mr K on telegraph pole this morning - no pics though!!
lUVVLY JUBBLY as Del Boy would say :) looks like a very tasty dinner - NOT ... I am still seeing that rat's tail going down LOL !
I want a Kestrel lol
ps. will exchange for six squirrels :)
Blimey!!!she made short work of that. I had to laugh at the beginning as she licked her fingers - in expectation? Good one Wendy, gory but that's what it's all about.
Lot to learn
Just caught sight of Mr K high up on cliff face & looking to nest-raid probably...
A very, very short vid...
Later on saw him in nest hole sheltering from a severe hail storm - maybe he took some food to Mrs K!!
He's a handsome chap, I'm sure he's looking after the mrs well. We''ve had some really heavy showers here today and then gorgeous sunshine, bet the birds are puzzled.
Love those Kestrels Wendy, how lovely to be able to see them so regularly and hope you see some little Kezlets soon :) you better start breeding voles for their dinner lol
