The pair showed up on 13th March & were checking out the nest - here's hoping..............
Have posted all I've taken today, unedited, as I'm so excited!!! They both flew off & now Mr Kestrel has returned to nest & sitting, waiting like a spider in the middle of a web! Just going to video him

He was on his telegraph pole yesterday for a while D with no show from the female - today the pattern is reversed!! Just had another scout round but no sign of him!!

Thanks folks - don't go out much these days, only to take pics of Kestrel pair!!! As you say, life will be better when that ****** wind dies down!!!

Amazing thread! I don't know how I missed it before as it really is fascinating reading & watching about these Kestrels! I've just read it from the start and enjoyed every bit of it!
