The pair showed up on 13th March & were checking out the nest - here's hoping..............
Have posted all I've taken today, unedited, as I'm so excited!!! They both flew off & now Mr Kestrel has returned to nest & sitting, waiting like a spider in the middle of a web! Just going to video him

Hi L - really hoping to report some more progress tomorrow - maybe they've been waiting for the better weather!
Keep the photos/ videos coming Wendy, this is such a lovely and interesting thread but I'd wish that pair would get on with it, I want to see baby K's LOL !

Hi Wendy, more stunning photos of your kestrel pair :-) It is so exciting!
After only one sighting yesterday of ? Kestrel in nest hole they were both there early this morning (well, early for me).....
Ms K was on telegraph pole - only manged one shot before she flew off..........
Mr K came back later & perched on cliff face for quite a while - gone again!!.......
Both such handsome birds!!
Oh, they are such handsome birds Wendy, how brilliant that you get to see them so close up; keep these pics and updates coming, loving all of it !!!
Just brilliant Wendy - fascinating watching your kestrel story unfold! Some beautiful photos there - love the ones with the blossom on the trees as a background - not seenn much blossom round here yet!

thank you so much for posting the pics of the wonderful kestrels. I love seeing them
Mr K was in nest entrance at 7.30 this morning - wonder if he spent the night there?? No sign of Mrs, maybe she's sitting on eggs!!
Was pouring for hours this morning so no chance of outside shots!
fingers crossed wendy that she is sitting on eggs :-)
Yippee - Mrs K back today - dismal/wet/v.windy here & spotted her sitting on what I call the 'fledging ledge'.....poor pics in bad light though....
shame it wasn't in focus but posted it as my first flight shot!!
Didn't see her leave so hope she went into nest to have a 'good squeeze' or even start incubating eggs - one can hope!!!
