Went out for a walk along the canal today. It was a nice day for a walk the weather dry quite a bright day only a few clouds. On the canal there were a few Swans and Ducks but there were lots of Moorhens. The usual were in the trees,Blackbirds,Sparrows,Dunnocks,Great tit,Bluetits,Robins etc.I am sure there were others along the route but none I could see only hear by different birdsong. Then this beauty caught my eye a lovely Buzzard
I was glad it stayed long enough so I could get these photos! :0)
Thankyou MBM,I was lucky enough last year to get a photo of a Kestrel hovering over the railway track at Dawlish warren, instead of a usual blob! :0)
These are wonderful LittleOwl and the detail you've still managed to capture given the distance is superb. What a super looking bird.
Andrew
These a brilliant littleowl!
In fact I'm really rather jealous, I've never managed a clear shot of a Buzzard, I had a perfect opportunity yesterday when one flew out of a tree in front of me...Shame I'd already packed my camera away :-(
Number 3 is also my favourite, brilliant photos!
Becca :-)
Lovely photos of a very beautiful bird! Well done!
They are so difficult to get close to but funnily enough if you do surprise one very close or if you come across a sick or injured one they often "play dead". Makes it so much easier to help!
Jenni
God gave us two ears and one mouth for a very good reason!
Thankyou Becca, Andrew and Jenni for your kind comments! :0)
