Common Blue, wouldn't open it's wings
Tern
Babes on the rock
Babes on the beach, they have left their nests now and adjusting to life on the beach and waves before leaving for warmer climes.
Could be Common Terns or Artic, I am just not sure.
The beak being black with red tip seems to indicate Common Tern (I think)
Mum and babe, almost same size now.
They were only 10 foot away from me, so as you can see I took a few photos :-)
The colony has done well this year, with the otters keeping their distance.
Nice few hours spent looking around Cemlyn, and even dipping my feet in the sea while grandson had a swim, it might have been boiling on the Sunday but still didn't entice me in - well someone had to look after the butties!!
Lot to learn

(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Lovely photos Gaynor, nice to see the swallows on the power lines, getting ready for their long flight south, and the terns, looking splendid.
I'm having big withdrawal symptoms from Anglesey, Wales (was supposed to be up there next week, but cancelled until my leg is sorted), and getting out in general, in fact, I might have to reintroduce myself to my camera, it will have forgotten who I am!

gaynorsl said:Thanks Mike, you get yourself sorted and in better health, Anglesey will still be here when you're up and about. Now the weather is a little iffy so you won't be missing too much, only the holiday traffic!!!
You're welcome, and thank you.
