Looks like King's Seat and Tarmangie/Saddle hills in the Ochils.

The sky from our widow looked like the first photo this morning just coming over the hill now its snowing and laying. Red sky in the morning was right once again thank goodness I got my hospital appointments done early.

Beautiful colours Gaynor, good to see someone is enjoying colourful sunrises, we're back to the incessant grey every days since NYD!

Thank you for your comments everyone, and no I can't always get away from window Linda, it is an ever changing scene and I love it. Don't know why the above pics are so different in colour, taken on same setting and same time of day, just turned to the right for the second shot, We didn't get the snow Hazy, just rained pretty hard by midday, I heard it was snowing your way though :-)

Hope the snow has left you now Seaman, it is always lovely to see for a short time but too much can be a pain. Though my Grandson would love it, he was out in the hailstone shower the other day and I felt sorry for him hoping so much it would stick.

In your defence, the search box, even if you select all categories doesn't always help to locate the desired thread(s), many times I've searched for a thread and its brought up old ones from eras long gone, and I know we're not alone either.

I'll second how beautiful and changeable the scenery is around there.

I book mark my favs otherwise I don't stand a chance of re-finding them
