Last year, Monkey cheese started the thread off for 2020, the link is here:
https://community.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/f/all-creatures/207284/the-young-of-2020
As 2021 is progressing, and there are young out there, I couldn't see 2021 thread, so I hope MC or anyone else doesn't mind, I'll start the 2021 thread. if there is one already, please correct me and place the link in a reply.

I was in the garden, listening to the cricket, but also interested in the charm of Goldfinches that kept circling in the trees. Almost certain this time (?) that this one is a juvenile Goldfinch
The lovely Dunnock - I'm already looking forward to this one announcing the start of Spring 2022

It has been a good year for Barn Owls in north Wiltshire, because it has been a good year for Short-tailed Voles and Field Mice. There is little intensive agriculture here and plenty of hay meadows.
In case anyone is asking the question: I hold a schedule 1 licence for monitoring Barn Owls at the nest and a permit to ring them.
This one was on the verge of fledging
This one is at the fluffy stage and will probably fledge at the end of September:
A juvenile goldfinch on the sunflower seeds
Go on kidda, get stuck in....
Two late Swallow fledglings; hoping they can quickly fatten up before that long journey starts and have fingers crossed for these little beauties ..........
