Last year, Monkey cheese started the thread off for 2020, the link is here:
https://community.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/f/all-creatures/207284/the-young-of-2020
As 2021 is progressing, and there are young out there, I couldn't see 2021 thread, so I hope MC or anyone else doesn't mind, I'll start the 2021 thread. if there is one already, please correct me and place the link in a reply.

Another nest and one youngster pokes its head out
Peek-a-boo....
And a Chad impression....
Spotted this juvenile fox early this morning. Apologies for the poor quality, it was a case of grab the camera which had the big lens attached and it was still quite dark, so post editing ensured....
Initially it was sat on the path waiting for me to get out the way so it could make a trip into our garden, but raising the camera and lens sent it back up the road....
Just caught quick snap of this youngster this morning with its bangle on..

A juvenile jay exploring its new found territory...
it didn't manage to suss out the feeders, so it contentedly fed around the ground....
Another juvenile blackbird slowly aquireing adult plumage
We've plenty of juvenile goldfinches and they all seem to love the sunflower seeds, so do the adults!
Two generations together
Not only do the Blackbirds use the squirrel baffle but the Goldfinch do now to feed their young.

Hi Everyone,
On a walk across Dunwich Heath in Suffolk I saw my first Juvenile Cuckoo, I think it can only be a Juvenile because the adults have already returned to Africa. It's an area known for Nightjars and there was a brief moment of hope I'd seen one but it was not near enough to dusk for it to be a possibility but I'm more than happy to see the Cuckoo.
