2021 Hoggies & earlybirds on my garden trailcam!

I caught a couple of hedgehogs on the trail cam the other night. Normally when I see two hogs together they are friendly, but for the first time in the video I see a bit of aggression. The video is a bit long but the action, if you call it that, is at the beginning and end of the video.

The aggressor is definitely a male, wonder if territorial action ... couldn't see sex of the smaller bullied one! Have had this kind of aggression at mine before but not usually prolonged!

I think it was this pair I seen last week, but it was more of a mating dance then. the big one advancing, and the smaller one huffing and backing off, with it going on for quite a while. But no sign of aggression then.

Plenty of visits nightly Ann but can't decide now if it's a male or female who's taken up residence in the house??  

Have to wait for itch/scratch actions

Ooooh nasty, you must take care it doesn't become infected Gaynor or you'll need antibiotics!

Hope you are okay after the bite Gaynor, a nasty thing a bite from one of those fly's, clegs, etc. Give it a good clean and put on some savlon or something similar.

Oh fleas, make sure you are not out at night when they are out or they will jump onto you and you will need itch and scratch medicine, the fleas that is and not the Hoggies!

I swell up with any insect bite,so would not go anywhere with these,
