So instead of starting a new discussion everytime I get new visitors or decent shots of wildlife in the garden I shall just keep adding to this one.
So today it was the Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 of them chasing each other around the trees
Just managed to catch the 2 of them together
Then it was Woodpecker v Starlings....yes I see yous up there
Move out of my way as am coming up...
I said moooooove...
you were warned...
ah...peace to eat at last..
I Dont mind sharing with the dunnock though, just those pesky starlings I dont like lol
Dunnock, robin and thrush happily hopping about together
Gorgeousredwing still around
Flying without wings.....
I just like the different colours of the trees and sky not all grey for a change!
Mr & Mrs RRB (bad pic but it difficult to get them together)
and up last its a wee lollipop
Think that will do for today as I have probably bored you all long enough lol
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Linda257 said:.hope you still managed a wee outing to feed the ducks with your neighbour.
We did indeed Linda, had a 4 mile walk around the parkland/woodland and fed the mallards and one friendly robin who now comes to the call LOL Sun never came out but there was no breeze so only a light fleece jacket needed.

Good to see the garden activity again, after a (summer?) break.

So had the trail cam out in various spots in the gsrden hoping to pick up some nightime activity...mostly just picked up myself lol
and...early rise robin
however last night I put some suet pieces and sunflower hearts in the unused bird table and guess who came back....
woohoo...
pity it didnt eat the 2 slugs that joined him/her at the table lol
still no sign of foxes though :-(
Lately we've been enjoying this rather affectionate pair visiting for some 'Afternoon Delight':
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Definitely X RATED!
But nicely captured Clare.
Linda, lovely badger photos, I'm guessing you're using one of those trailcams?
