So instead of starting a new discussion everytime I get new visitors or decent shots of wildlife in the garden I shall just keep adding to this one.

So today it was the Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 of them chasing each other around the trees

Just managed to catch the 2 of them together

Then it was Woodpecker v Starlings....yes I see yous up there

Move out of my way as am coming up...

I said moooooove...

you were warned...

ah...peace to eat at last..

I Dont mind sharing with the dunnock though, just those pesky starlings I dont like lol

Dunnock, robin and thrush happily hopping about together

Gorgeousredwing still around

Flying without wings.....

I just like the different colours of the trees and sky not all grey for a change!

Mr & Mrs RRB (bad pic but it difficult to get them together)

and up last its a wee lollipop

Think that will do for today as I have probably bored you all long enough lol

Wee jenny sunbathing today...

Done a few videos of her grooming and eating a woodlouse. Will post if they are decent lol

Beautiful little Jenny Wren and I liked the Blue Tit leaning over to the fountain for a drink. You are getting some really clear photos with your new camera Linda, look at the colours on the Goldie, gorgeous little bird.

Nice too see the bright sunny days. Agree with Gaynor, the colours are lovely in your photos and they are also very clear. A nice selection of birdies.

Thanks Gaynor...oh I had a nightmare of a morning with the camera yesterday when I was out a wee jaunt, I had the best view of the Deer leaping in the air and stupid me had accidentally hit the manual focus button that I didn't know existed..had to ask for help from an another birder as I had no idea what was wrong with it!! Won't make that mistake again!! Lol

Full of incident then! I always think a Woodpigeon stand off is perhaps more ... energetic ... than you might imagine. Even your Greenies look as if they are trying to grow crests for spring!

Lovely lot of action in your garden Linda, unusual to see the LTT's down on the ground collecting feathers!! Even the Goldies having an argument and the Woodies having a fight, while the Greenfinch are happily grabbing food as usual.
