In my garden.....

So instead of starting a new discussion everytime I get new visitors or decent shots of wildlife in the garden I shall just keep adding to this one.

So today it was the Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 of them chasing each other around the trees

Just managed to catch the 2 of them together

Then it was Woodpecker v Starlings....yes I see yous up there

Move out of my way as am coming up...

I said moooooove...

you were warned...

ah...peace to eat at last..

I Dont mind sharing with the dunnock though, just those pesky starlings I dont like lol

Dunnock, robin and thrush happily hopping about together

Gorgeousredwing still around

Flying without wings.....

I just like the different colours of the trees and sky not all grey for a change!

Mr & Mrs RRB (bad pic but it difficult to get them together)

and up last its a wee lollipop

Think that will do for today as I have probably bored you all long enough lol

Yo! its only a little rain!!!

    bathtime on the decking today

Doesnt look deep enough for head dunkin!...maybe its breakdancing Joy The bird was not injured in any way!!!!

Then up to the trees...just wow!!

    I think there maybe 2!!!

    or 3???

I'm the king of the garden as my branch is taller than yours!

And am gonna tell the world!

Mrs Chaffi...(I think) taking centre stage now

Defo Mrs chaffi on the fence lol

Another surprise visitor today....Greenie  (rain was off at this point!)

    Just hanging around

    ahhh bug hunting

My wild patch is certainly growing!

    Maggie thinking about it....

    and diving in

And just one from high in the trees...the neighbourhood watch

Never usually see them but can always here them when there is danger

  • A wonderful collection of birds over the last few days, Linda--thanks for all of the photos. Never too many at all!

    Kind regards, Ann

  • Excellent photos Linda, i particularly like the Thrush ones, although the Greenfinch and Blackcap are up there as well! Certainly not getting that array of birds in my garden down here, although we seem to be getting your volume of rain......the difference being we are not used to it!
  • Thanks Ann...always happy to share them.

  • Thanks David.....Considering the amount of blackbirds in the garden the now, the thrush aint put off and still comes down for some worms....BBs eventually chase it away if it gets too close to one of them....change in weather today...woke up to NO RAIN!!!...I didnt send it your way this time ...honestly Hushed

  • Cloudy and lots of afternoon sunshine so birds have gone elsewhere today Confused

Blackbirds still here as usual  and some other usual visitors,

but one little family stopped by to check out the garden this morning

This one refused to turn round!

Thats all for today...YES only 4 pics Joy One had to catch up on ones work!!! Confused
