So instead of starting a new discussion everytime I get new visitors or decent shots of wildlife in the garden I shall just keep adding to this one.
So today it was the Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 of them chasing each other around the trees
Just managed to catch the 2 of them together
Then it was Woodpecker v Starlings....yes I see yous up there
Move out of my way as am coming up...
I said moooooove...
you were warned...
ah...peace to eat at last..
I Dont mind sharing with the dunnock though, just those pesky starlings I dont like lol
Dunnock, robin and thrush happily hopping about together
Gorgeousredwing still around
Flying without wings.....
I just like the different colours of the trees and sky not all grey for a change!
Mr & Mrs RRB (bad pic but it difficult to get them together)
and up last its a wee lollipop
Think that will do for today as I have probably bored you all long enough lol
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
So I have been busy in the garden the past few days thats why the pictures and posts have been a bit scarce because I scare the birds lol.
Manage to get some roses planted , a few shrubs and a red robin tree so hopefully the wildlife shall approve of my hard labour eventually!
Woodpecker was busy drilling today waiting for me to get in the house so it could come down to feed...
cmon get in the house sacry woman!
Im starving!!!!
I retire for some lunch so the birds can feed....and have a bath ...
I get the feeling someone is watching me
Mr & Mrs BB bathing together....
Dunnock spoils the BBs fun!...
Then poor wee Mr Sparrow needs a good scrub
as his pristine Mrs watches from above
How beautiful she is...
I think she knows it too!
she suns herself while Mr Sparrow collects nest building material...
Mr Starling also doing some collecting
And Mr BB collecting the lunch for the brood....
Such a pleasure to see goldfinches as they dont hang about for long!
I blend in well dont I !
Hope you all had a lovely Easter.
Who needs chocolate when we have such amazing wildlife to curb our cravings!
Take care all, stay safe.
Lot to learn
Lovely photos Lynda, considering the weather you've been having.

Been a quiet few days in the garden as the suns been shining and the wind blowing.....
The Dunnocks are always flapping around...must have at least 5 now and they all like their showers...
My wee coaltit posing for me...
Mr Grumpy chops looking for the mealworms
Mr BB got some mouths to feed??
Dexter looking to see if the coast is clear
Sparra having a feed
Thats all for today...Hope you are all safe and well
A bit of courting going on today!
Much to Woodys horror as he was trying to have a wee sunbathe in peace
Terrible pic (wrong camera settings) but look at that big yawn!!!
Pigeons will give any feeder a go!!!
Another Mrs BB raiding my pond for material
Oh my lovely greedy starlings...
Covering all angles..looking for the magpies!
Mr & Mrs Chaffi showed face today
So everyone asking what about the seagulls...well one landed in my garden today for a drink....jeezo it was bigger than my pond!
And as my neighbour hates bird poop well it was her fault they landed again as she threw bread over her fence and a magpie picked it up and dropped it in my garden!.....Down came the big guys.....
there was one.....
then there were two...
Surprisingly they shared their treasure bit of bread!!!!
Oh how we all adapt lol
I have told her bread is bad for birds and attracts the magpies! But she must think I dont see her throw stuff over the fence..into nomans land...put it in the recycle bin woman!!!
Well I hope the seagulls get a feed elsewhere now as they are scary big and very noisey....
my dunnock trying to be tall and elegant
And to finish.....my wee fuzzy lollipops
Well thats another day done. Hope you are all safe and well.
