Thanks Cin , I did put a piece of slate under it and put it on dry land but it dived straight back into the pond amongst the plants and Algae out of sight! Much appreciated

Lol...Or maybe hes just used to swimming with all the rain we got!
Extra visitors to moth trap last night included a couple of Forest Bugs - Pentatoma rufipes and a Sexton Beetle - Nicrophorus investigator that had a number of passengers
I've learnt my lesson, don't moth in a gale
Lovely Bees enjoying my flowers planted especially for them
A variety of hoverflies and bees were also busy on the erysimum...

Hello, I guess this should be in butterflies and moths now we know they are not sawflies, but I started posting here so... here are some final photos, I have now released the few I kept as I'm in mad busy mode and much as I would love to see them pupate and emerge, I just don't have the time to make sure everything is ok for them.
