Hi All, I took an executive decision & decided to amalgamate the Butterfly & Moth threads which may make it easier to find if it's used more!

Yes life "sans souci" would be good too, for those scratching their heads, souci also means "problem/worry ".
We get Clouded Yellows generally up to the end of the year, we've also seen some blues, Speckled woods, Red Admirals & Large Whites recently.
Gaynor : you get Red Squirrels which we see once a year if we're lucky & very rarely around here.........
An old photo taken in december which show the carpet of wild "Soucis" in the vines
They really lift the spirit on a dull day.
Came out of lockdown yesterday morning & to avoid the curfew at night, I dropped my traps off at a local Château. There were a few brave moths that turned up to welcome me back. This is my favorite as it's only around in december & with the weather I don't get to see it very often, appropiately called the December Moth
Several Mottled Umber moths
about 20 Winter Moth's
one I don't think you get in the UK Agrochola blidaensis
& a late appearance of Olive-tree Pearl
It was around 7°C all night so not too cold.
