Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

It was a very mixed day yesterday when we went for or usual walk at NT Ikworth Park, cold, foggy, then bright sun back to fog. So much hoar frost on trees and bushes. All pics taken on iPhone,
Thick hoar frost melting like rain.
The lake with one side in sun and the other still frosty
Looking up the path into the sun.
It can be a beautiful landscape at this time of year with the right weather. Think we also saw our first winter thrushes further on the walk so will take bins on Thurs walk and a small camera.
