Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

A few random ones from yesterdays walk from the city up to Stanage Edge, one of the local peak district edges.
Owler bar owl. Nearly missed him/her but usually there abouts.
Red deer doe in amongst the fern.
Grouse on Stanage edge with the Hope cement factory in the distance across the valley.
Coming down from Stanage edge and a kestrel near Wyming Brook, searching the fields around Redmires.
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Lovely stuff all. A couple of different ones from me, got a new birdbath which was a bit deeper than the old one, so could put the squirty fountain-type feature in it, and then I came over all arty farty... completely accidental outcomes, the red is our geraniums refracted in the drops, and how I managed a single red drop in the 1st one is beyond me lol
Mid morning snack for BB or maybe some youngsters due to appear soon???
Or just collecting as many as possible before the sun dries out the soil...yes we have sun today!!!
