Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

Deceased Stoat. Probably natural causes going by the area where I found it.
An impressive set of gnashers…..unless you were one of its prey items I suppose.!!

It was a dry afternoon and we wanted to get out the house so went to New Lanark.
Was all about the scenery as it was late afternoon
or just the raging water
No birds to be seen and only heard a few blue tits
Still beautiful landscape even if very few birds were to be seen. This is why many birders go into hibernation or torpor in the height of summer
