Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

When the Starlings are so loud you fear you may get an ASBO!

When we moved in at the end of March (hard to believe it's that long ago already!) Mrs PB bought me a gift. A bath. I said "I won't even get my backside in there"... she said, "it's a bird bath, bird brain!" It's been used quite often, but I've never had a camera to hand until today... These shots all taken through the window...
Bendy neck!
Three's a crowd
The sparrow looking a tad dishevelled
And share and share alike
Come on in darling, the water's lovely
Not the best taken with the Nikon p1000 jpg mode, a White Wagtail.
