Wendy and TJ, Have you read Helen's book, H is for Hawk ? I very much enjoyed it. Will try to watch her and her new bird later.
In reply to Alan.:
A juvenile marsh harrier over Cley marshes last weekend. I was thrilled to get my first photographa of one...
Oooh, they're lovely Alan, and well done Karen, splendid shots, and always a lovely feeling to get 1st pic of something (I get that feeling when I recognise it too!! :o) )
A female Marsh Harrier at Lunt Meadows
I remember a recent discussion on the difference between female and juvenile and this is what I consider a full adult female, with much bolder cream markings, including large patches on the leading edge of the wings and a band around the neck, too
She put on a good show, coming much closer
