Absolutely amazed last night to step out front to check on moths & frogs & quite literally bump into a Hoggie ... in fact I kicked it in the dark & was good job I had my slippers on!!!
Took a couple of hasty snaps & rushed back to get some of their dried food from the store cupboard ...
Checked a while later & they had vanished ... so had the food!
Have put food out again tonight & set up trail cam ... here's hoping!

So pleased to have the three youngsters visiting together again ... allayed my fears that the poor little Hoggie I couldn't save may have been one of my regulars ...
Lot to learn
Kind regards, Ann
Was very pleased to discover that there was a Hoggie using the house in my garden judging by the neat nest in the straw ... cleaned up a bit & put more fresh straw in which was quickly incorporated with existing into a large mound ... then the weather turned & I couldn't put my trailcam out until last night ... I trained it on house & feeding station entrances! Imagine my dismay to come across footage of a very badly damaged Hoggie albeit timely to see as I could get it to Vet's before it suffered any further ... still waiting to hear but not expecting any good news as the wound was nasty!
Fresh food & trailcam out tonight in case there may be good news of others!
