3 days of sunshine & Butterflies galore. Well, not really but we did see 3 Brimstones a Red Admiral & a Peacock. I did get a shot of the Brimstone flying, but I think trying to photograph Butterflies in flight is one of the first signs of madness. Anyway, it's high time I started this thread.

Another Painted Lady from yesterday at Holme Bird Observatory. I've seen a few about but not in any numbers as forecast, I guess they missed East Anglia.
There is often an RA hanging around the courtyard clinging to the warm bricks; guess we better make the most of the flutterbys before the season is over. Real overcast now with hint of drizzle :(

Send it down here. I'm melting in the heat here. It's in the low 30's again. Far too hot to be outside.
