Mostly Moths 2019

  • Just try picking it up, it'll soon get nasty! LOL You could look at the end of it's body to see if it has claspers or egg-laying hole, that's if it stops bombing around! Thay are beautiful though, haven't had one yet this year.

  • Are you still with us Wendy!!!!? What a huge beast, don't think I'd like to bump into him/her in the dark,

    Lot to learn

  • Just think what it'll be like when there are more of them and you're outnumbered. They'll be picking you up to see if you squeak!!

Any news on your Deaths Head Moths Wendy? We got back from holiday a week ago & managed a couple of traps but the weather has gone belly up now. I had a day out looking for ladybirds with others & found a few & this caterpillar which I think is a moth larve but not sure. It looks similar to Gelechiidae. Any ideas?

Also found this one a Dark Dagger
