To tired to say were I have been today but six hours or more in a car and just short of 400 miles takes it out of you when you get up at 4:30am and don't get back to 8:30pm so just going to show one picture of a Seo and a Kestrel haveing fisticuffs.
Wonderful capture of the SEO and Kestrel, look forward to the rest of your pics in due course Jim. That was quite a round trip you did. I notice there was a rough-legged Buzzard reported around there yesterday.
No wonder you were tired Jim, that was a long day. Judging by that photo it was worth it and plenty more to come I hope.
Wow, amazing capture, that was one hell of a round trip. look forward to more pics
Is Burwell Fen another name for Wicken Fen nature reserve or a different spot entirely? Although anywhere in the fenland is a long way to go in a day, even if you have got an excellent shot of some fisticuffs.
@ Nige, Same place Nige, and like you say if I go again I will stay the night and come home later the next day.
@ Tony, it was a long one Tony, glad my mate was driving and glad we were on this side on the M62 on our way back a car had spun and it was in the fast lane the traffic had been stopped and the tail back went back for miles.
@ Bob, Rochdale Bob.
@ Alan, a lot look the same so will only post a couple.
@Tony, a lot look the same so will only post a couple Tony, and what other pictures I took.
@ Hazel, I never heard anyone mention a Buzzard but I did see a Marsh Harrier.
A lot of the pictues look similar so will only post a couple of the SEO.

Looks like you had a lovely day with blue sky and some very nice birds and photos.
Thank you Hazel, wish I had took my canon 100x400mm now i had a lot of missed focus shots :(
Lovely photos, Jim--thanks! I've yet to see a Short Eared Owl. Nice Kestrel as well. You certainly went a long way to see them.
