Hazel in Southwest France
Brilliant photos all, butterflies and moths here recently have been very conspicuous by their absence!
A couple from the River Stort, Bishops Stortford, during a recent visit to our son.
Speckled Wood
And what I think is a "heart and dart" moth.

It's a Large Yellow Underwing (Noctua pronuba) Mike, & as TJ said, this is last year thread so no more replies here, please, or we'll be muddled up..Here is 2019 thread https://community.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/f/all-creatures/200195/beautiful-butterflies-2019
Many thanks for the correct id of the moth folks, and why I clicked on 2018 when I did a search for the current thread is beyond me, I must be getting senile!
