Two redshanks at Cley Marshes yesterday - they were very noisily protecting their nest, and flew quite close to us, on the N Norfolk Coast Path...
Two shots of the same skylark, didn't sit still for long before it was off singing again
Remember - the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

A couple from our trip to Yorkshire, both at the cottage, firstly one captured by Wifey
And one by myself...
(I've never seen so many rooks, jackdaws and pigeons in one place!)
Now I, like everybody else, like a good fence post. I do, however, feel that the media frenzy and intense focus about the top of the fence post unfairly jeopardises the future of the BASE of the fence post, which, lets face it, is the unglamorous part of the job, generally just supplying support to the airy fairy arty world of the TOP of the fence post. Without careful management I feel the bases will just be left to rot and we would no longer have the sights such as the ones below...
Please, if you have a heart, join me now in campaigning for equal right s of fence post bases!!
LOL, PimperneBloke! Are you planning to submit a petition to Change.org or one of the many other campaigning organisations?!!
