Just a little light hearted extract from a delightful bath time in my garden today.
Should we wait a bit longer?
I'm getting in, are you going to join me?
Where has he gone? He's used all the soap!
Brrrrr. It's a bit cold and I wish there was some bubble bath.
Just got to wash under the tail, then I'm off
That's me done. I'm off to get warm and dry.
Cheers, Linda.

Oh lovely series of photos there, Sparrow, thanks for sharing :o)
They're so cute! I think Sparrows and Starlings are hilarious in the bath and I too have a few photos to share.
By the way, is it my imagination or or your Sparrows lighter in colour than mine?
That's a great set of photos, Sparrow and I love your commentary. Birds really love to bathe don't they and the moving water in the birdbath seems to enhance their enjoyment. They look so bedraggled at the end of it it's a wonder they can fly.

Brilliant Sparrow. I really enjoyed seeing them. Thanks.
Nice photos Sparrow! It's very rare to see my Sparrows having a bath grubby lot. lol :0)

I think they are just cleaner Paul. LOL
Hi Sparrow
What lovely bathtime photos. Those sparrows are so cute in the bath and they come out looking wet through.
I only get starlings or pigeons in mine and I end up refilling it 3 or 4 times a day.
Best wishes Chris

I love watching bath time! I love your commentary on this one.
Just posted on water features page about wood pigeons bathing. They actually took a swim!
What cuties Sparrow.
Love the bath as I can see the water squirling around. They will love that feeling.
Have to say I have never seen my Sparrow bathing either unless they are early birds and bathe before I get up in the morning.
The Starlings are never out of the bath here.
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Thanks everyone.
My sparrows are very clean. After their bath they sit on the flat top of the hedge for a good shake and dry.
I've never even seen my pigeons (ferals) drink, never mind bathe. Sparrows, starlings, blackbirds and robins are the only regular bathers.
Paul - my females are very light at the moment, and when the sun shines on their backs they are a lovely golden brown. But as TJ said, maybe they are just cleaner!
What a gorgeous set of pictures, and a lovely comentary to accompany them.
Thanks for making me smile:)
