Hi Paul, GREAT WINDOW!!!
Regards Adrian.
Great photos, Paul - a lovely selection of birds! The starlings are a real highlight, as is the beautiful glossy rook.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Stunning photos Paul, I love the Rook especially with the light on him, thanks for posting these up.

Lovely clear photos Paul, looking pretty frosty with you, we've had none here yet, maybe next week as they say it's getting colder.

Thanks all.
Brilliant photo's Paul, that Rook could be part Lapwing looking at the sheen in his feathers lol.what's that little bird in the cage eating the peanuts (pic 7)? It has a very pronounced supercillium (I think that's what it's called) very much like an Arctic warbler (which it isn't)

Hi terry. Thanks for your kind comments. The wee bird is a female House Sparrow. The Sparrows seem to have had a great year here and we are struggling to keep the peanut feeders topped up for them. At feeding time in the morning I can often count upwards of 50 of them. Not complaining though. Think it's great..!!
