This has been the news from RSPB reserve The Lodge on Facebook. Sadly Facebook seems to get the news first these days. I’ve often posted over many years on this on whyThe RSPB have never had a cafe at RSPB’s headquarters at the The Lodge reserve near Sandy in Bedfordshire when the announcement was made about about two years ago that the RSPB’s headquarters The Lodge reserve was going to get a cafe along with a number of other popular RSPB reserves as well that haven’t had cafe already. Well the cafe at The Lodge is now open!.

For anyone that lives in Bedfordshire and I don’t. I also found this from a post again from Facebook. From one of the many visitors to the RSPB’s Lodge reserve on what the menu is and will vary on a daily basis at the RSPB’s The Lodge reserve’s cafe.
I missed this out on my second post in this thread and this is what you can get to drink at the new cafe at The Lodge reserve, tea, coffee etc.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
