They have been giving us a bit of a run around this year, having appeared in a number of different places and disappearing for a few days. Locations have inlcuded near the hide, along the Firs Trail and around the Gatehouse.
We were getting a bit worried we had an unpaired bird but it is much relief to have discovered a nest. They are being quite flighty so we won't be advertising the location of the nest, in previous years we have had issues with photographers getting too close.
