Hobby and fox cubs

Hi all. Had great view of my first hobby of the year  today on Otmoor. Settled on grass not far from cattle pens before being chased away by lapwings. Still two wheatears from hide. Lots of Snipe flying and curlew on Greenaways. White fronted goose from hide. On a worrying note. I witnessed at least three newborn fox cubs from first screen. They were on the furthest left channel that is cut into the reedbed. they were slightly unsteady on their feet with dark grey fur and ginger faces they can only be a few days old at the most. Difficult to know how many there are as they were wandering in and out of view into reeds. But i did see three together. Every time a canada goose honked they would scurry back into the reeds to where i assume the mother was. This is not good news for the birds that inhabit the reedbed.
