Meant to post this last week, but when I was down at Newport last Wednesday, bumped into Gideon, who told me he is off to pastures new in West Wales.
I don't know if he will come back and read these boards, but if he does, I would just like to say thanks for all the helpful and interesting chats I have had with him there over the past year, since I started visiting the reserve.
