Just to whet your appetite a couple of images (and Owls LOL ) from this Sunday
y
If you look carefully there are little Owls at top left and Bottom right of this image, at one time both birds were within a few feet of each other on the small branch shown in the first image. unfortunately the camera was not on the tripod at the time and the image was impossible to get hand held
Excellent Nigel - thanks - will check that out

Hi Dai
The Owls are becoming quite an attraction at the reserve at the moment - I was there on Sunday, (when the pics above were taken), and I think about 100 people had a look through my scope with lots of Ooh's and Ah's.
Nice to see the positive reaction of the Sunday walkers and families
Thanks again Nigel, with your great directions I know exactly where to look now. Went down the other day and found the site - sadly no Little Owls on that occasion but will keep trying. My disappointment was offset somewhat though with sitings of a fox and a badger.
Did someone tell me I was coming .. I stood there with another couple for twenty minutes yesterday, binoculars panning all along the trees. Nothing .. nada .. not a feather!
I am sure I could hear hoot like sniggering coming from the other side of the trees tho! ;o)
