Hello from Mr H

Hi from Mr H

Following a discussion with Gideon at the center I have joined the forum to share sightings and photos.

I have been visiting for the past year and regularly visit with my family.

Today’s highlights have to be :

Peregrine directly overhead

Little Owl x2

Buzzard and Kestrel flying together

Plenty of dragonflies

  • Welcome Mr H. Look forward to hearing about your sightings and seeing your pics.  Nice dragonfly shot.

  • Welcome to the forums Mr H! ;o)

Look forward to seeing your photos.

I have some more to put up, but the computer is only in half use due to a house move.

    Great dragonfly shot!

  • Hello "Peeps" :)

    I'm enjoying the photos.
Looks like midnight's a quicker time for uploading stuff?

    Welcome Cathy

Keep the pics coming, always good to see what people have captured with their cameras at the Wetlands.

You were lucky with the Bearded babies sighting - I still have not seen one despite visiting regularly!

  • Nope .. nor me .. stood for ages down by the lighthouse and in the reed beds for ages yesterday. Nothing! Did get a nice shot of a reed bunting though.

You weren't the same Cathy I was talking to in the visitor centre yesterday, when the kingfisher flew past?

  • I can't make it there on a weekday that often apart from some Fridays, so no it was some other Cathy that was lucky enough to see the kingfisher.

Couldn't get there this afternoon as I was working away, but a moorhen came to see me.
(Well, it seemed to be attacking it's reflection in the dark glass windows of the industrial unit I was visiting).

Loads of starlings on the scrounge in Strensham Services on the way back.
