Sorry for my poor description here... We were rushing back to the car at RSPB Newport wetlands yesterday just before the car park closed at 5pm. In the hedgerow there was a LBJ singing its heart out on a branch about a metre above or head height. Robin sized. The song was beautiful, each phrase lasted a few seconds and sounded like it was repeated. I have been trying to work out what it was, possibly a garden warbler but it looks like it's too early for them? Any ideas?
