Thanks to Alan for the advice on vid uploads - hoping this works now
Cool video! I've yet to hear a cuckoo down there this year but to be honest for the last week I've been chasing Wood Warblers up in Abergavenny and Nightingales over in Highnam Woods, Gloucestershire.
Ohhh Nightingales - believe it or not never actually heard one so if you have vid would love to hear it John
Nicky, Thanks and I hope we will hear a Cuckoo, too, in a few weeks.
John, Chasing, but did you FIND any Wood Warblers or Nightingales?!
Kind regards, Ann
Ann thankfully I found both! Watch this space!
Nicky Cetti's are loud but the Nightingale is even more powerful being slightly larger. I will be publishing a video but having two to do it may take a while!
Looking forward to it John, believe I may have heard a Cetti's at forest farm reedbeds a few weeks ago but not 100% so be grand to take a look at the video
Hi Nicky - here it is!
I suppose it sounds a bit O.T.T. 'A Guide to British Birds" but working my way though them is therapeutic. I'm just lacking the Garden and Dartford Warblers for the set of common warblers and there are a couple of other! species almost ready.
