Well we won't be seeing these little beauties until next April and before we forget about them I'd like to post these videos from a project I've been working on for a while. Some of you may have seen earlier versions, but these are the final edits. I really hope you like them.
Sorry if they come across as a little didactic, they're on YouTube and can be viewed from anywhere in the world, so I've let my inner teacher out and tried to make them educational. Well it keeps me off the streets! I know that for most of the regulars the information is not really needed, but I'm hoping you'll enjoy the photos and video anyway.
The first is the Reed Warbler
Here is the Sedge Warbler.
Great footage once again John and well compiled.
I really enjoyed watching them John. Plenty of varied footage capturing a lot of behaviour and song.
Hi David and Colin, thanks for the great feedback , glad you enjoyed the videos.
I was down the Wetlands today and there was not a lot around the reedbeds apart from a few Stonechats and a group of 4 Beardies on the short pontoon. There was plenty going on in the trees and hedgerows, including flocks of Tits and Goldfinches, a lone Tufted Duck in front of the hide, a Kestrel above and I also thought I saw the Hen Harrier viewed from a distance.
Hoping to get down there tomorrow and that it is brighter and not as windy.
