Just a couple of videos before I head of to the Smoke and away from wildlife for a week to help my son with some DIY!
First a Kestrel hovering over prey.
and now a Moorhen and chicks.
Will have withdrawl symptoms by the time you get back.
Fantastic & amazing vids Jluk!! Comments on YT!

The expected high quality videos. A pleasure to watch
Always amazed at how the kestrel keeps its head still, it must take a lot of energy.
Many thanks David, Wendy and Colin.
David I've got withdrawal symptoms already, it's not like there aren't plenty of places to go around here but absolutely no time to fit in pleasure trips.
Wendy thanks for your YT comments, really appreciated, frustratingly although I saw them in my email I can't get on to the 'comments' page on this iPad because the App is limited to viewing and sharing, I'll have to wait until I'm home.
Colin the thing that fascinated me was the way it uses it's tail as a stabiliser to keep that static position.
John, you should be able to access the YT site directly via the Safari? browser, rather than the app. This should give full access, although text size may be a little small :-)
Best regardsNigel

Cheers for that Nigel! It did work! :)
You see, all those years I spent sat in front of a monitor are useful for something :-D
