I have completely confused myself with warblers, had a good day at Uskmouth today and think I saw a few warbler species. Sometimes when there are also young about it becomes awkward to identify (for me anyway). Is this a Marsh Warbler?.
David I've pondered this question myself as I thought I saw/heard a Marsh Warbler last year but yours is definitely a Reed Warbler, there's not much in it in terms of appearance but the Marsh has pale legs and is whiter underneath whereas the Reed has those distinctive grey legs however the main identifier is the song - the Marsh Harrier has a much wider range of whistles in addition to its warbles!
Thanks John, I should have realised with the legs.
