First offspring I have seen here. Lovely day as well and very busy. A Cetti's was tormenting me all the way round on my walk but eventually saw him on the coast path but not sufficient time to get picture. Did get pic of a nice peacock butterfly and one of my favourite brown birds, the Reed Bunting.
It seems that the Mallards are doing well so far. I'll have to check on the progress of my locals tomorrow. I've heard but not seen a Cetti's.

Saw this family yesterday in the reen leading to Goldcliff lagoons.
We saw ours in the wobbly bridge bit by the lighthouse where the water rail was.
