I decided to brave the wind and rain and see what had blown in down in Goldcliff. The answer was that nothing was visible from the first hide apart from the fact that the island has disappeared under the waves. Virtually nothing (bird-wise) could be seen from the second hide either but down at the bottom in the lee of the sea wall there were quite a few of the usual suspects. Thanks David. It's that time of the year! I was scanning the Wigeons to see if there was any sign of the American one but no luck!
