Had a trip up there with Mr Barman recently .. a life tick in seeing the GCP Cranes in the flooded fields and photographic life tick in the shape of this bank vole ...

Alas it wasn't us .. we didn't get there until 10pm. I think it was the 11th we went. ;o)

I once had a email from "Human Resources" which was actually one person, asking me to attend a meeting starting at 3AM, at her office.
I was actually working nights that day, so at the appointed time I sent her an email at home, [with a copy of both her and my email, to the managing director). I also fixed a large note to her office door " I was here, Where Were YOU !!"
She was not amused when she returned to work and rushed into see the MD, who was amused ;)
Strangely, shortly afterwards the company decided to shut down branch HR departments and creating a centralised department
