Rspb Mersehead

Hi,

just to say many thanks for a great day. My son was in tears when we had to go home!

This was our first visit to Mersehead and it won't be our last, we were amazed by the noise of all the Barnacle, Greylag, Canada and Pink footed geese - don't think they were too pleased with the microlite that passed overhead a few times. In fact it was so noisy they completely drowned out the 200+ lapwings...

Would like to say a big thank you to the staff in the centre especially Sam who was very, very helpful and informative.

Once again, many thanks

  • Thank you Alan, what lovely feedback and I'll be sure to pass it onto Sammy, who is one of our long term residential volunteers!!  You chose a perfect time for your first visit to Mersehead!  There were birds everywhere last weekend weren't there?!  You are right, the barnies really don't like the microlites or aircraft that occasionally pass over the reserve, mind you they were spooked by a heron the other day!

Thanks again for your comments, it makes it all worth while when we hear how much people have enjoyed their visit!

We look forward to welcoming you back to Mersehead again soon

    Regards

    Becky
