So the season extends by yet another day. One wonders if Bynack or Odin will fly away today. The only way to find out is to follow the thread.
There were 316 posts made yesterday.
How long will we have to wonder where Tore is? Is she in France? Is she heading for the sturgeon farm?

You've got it bad Alex! LoL

Oh dear, wide cam has moved and I for one can see nothing osprey-like!

I can't see anything either Sheila.
Well done for your grovel MOFFER. I am sure they really understand our impatience - it happens each year!
You could well be right ALEX. Our ospreys have an uncanny knack of rewriting their guide books! If Odin really has brought two fish in since Bynack appeared at 11.31hr, where is he. He has the nose and eyes to know that FISH is around!!
Just heard the steam railway whistle, but no osprey call.
I've just been looking through my Osprey pics (I had no idea that there were so many)
This is Tore the day before she left.
Beautiful MOFFER - why not put it on the Tore and Bynack page too. Almost a last sighting?
I really like this one but I can't remember which wet tween it was.
And this group shot. All four birds together.
To be honest, I think Tore did her farewell with real style. I will never forget this evening fish the day before she left. She ate it on the nest, looking around her with what I cannot but call dignity. Then on the next morning she was back so early, she could get the first fish and took it without a fight, ate, looked around... and gone she was.
If Bynack really IS gone now, and did it via a last visit to the dead tree, refrained from any shouting, refrained from waiting for a fish (!) and headed south... if this really is what happened, it would be "doing it with style", too :-)
Cats and women will do as they please. Dogs and men should relax and get used to it.

I'll have a few DM on that as well, Alex! I think he was off around noon (last sighting around 11:30). Surely Odin wouldn't have been able to enjoy his two fish in peace if Bynack had been around? I also reckon Odin will be on his way shortly, possibly tomorrow, as soon as he's convinced that Bynack has gone.
