Aran & Elen
After a slightly dodgy start, when Elen went AWOL when she found that Aran hadn't arrived, and he therefore had a brief flirtation with Blue372 (of whom much more in the Llyn Brenig thread), this couple's second season together is turning out to be a great success. Elen has survived the attentions of an aggressive Tawny Owl and has produced 3 eggs, one more than last season, and Aran has continued to be the great provider we are accustomed to.

I don't know if this is a common practice for Aran but I've never seen it before - he fed the chicks !!!
Elen wasn't fully happy about it at first but then she let him get on with it. After this video finishes, Elen found a small piece of fish and fed one chick while Aran fed another and the 3rd chick sat separately, not hungry. Aran stopped at 15:13, so he'd been at it for +/- half an hour.
This time #3 got an exclusive supper feed from Aran - I'm not sure what to make of Elen's behaviour:
Thanks Scylla, lovely to see #3 with such a full crop. Well done Aran. Yes it looked like Elen didn’t know what to do with herself!

Aran's making a habit of it

Aran brought a sprig of oak leaves:
He brought a good portion to the nest and all were fed, #3 getting extra after the other two had finished. Elen did the feeding - I haven't checked thru the whole day to see if Aran took a turn.
All wonderful 'snaps' , thank you Scylla. And well done Aran on the oak leaves
