Asha & Brodie
The partnership has matured this season, with Asha continuing her good female role (and she loves nest-building) and Brodie being more reliable, both fishing and incubating.
The pair have fought their way thru all kinds of nasty weather - snow, wind and rain - and intruders, including the dreaded KL5 Klive, have been a nuisance but not dangerous...
so far.

EDIT
********
Sadly, the month of May heralded irresistible aggression from BlueKL5 "Klive", who had ruined the end of last season for the 2 juvies.
Within the first 2 days Klive had driven Brodie from the area (tho Brodie did return a couple of times to dive-bomb Klive, to no effect) and destroyed the eggs. He commenced to woo Asha clumsily, selfishly and inappropriately, as can be seen from the following pages.

No-one yet seen except for this little tweeter on the nest perch. I couldn't hear anything over the wind but suspected it might be tweeting, so spent an hour (!?) treating the sound and here we have it! But the visual is very grainy/blurry, sorry:
How lovely, dunno what he/she is , can't tell but what a lovely video it makes. Thanks Scylla
I screen shot this on 26 July, the feather was missing then

I think this is exactly the same snap I took the following morning (I'm very often a day behind) but didn't post when I had it in the video... I think - but I'm in a very confused state today!

Whilst it's nice to have some sunny & warm days at last I can imagine it's not helping you at all Scylla ... keep the fans running!

I've got the full picture with the time stamp if that helps
Klive was in at lunchtime - apart from seeing that he was OK it was an uninformative visit, we couldn't see evidence of feather "damage" except a brief look under his left wing at white feathers that may have been a bit "different" ??? The PTZ didn't attempt to follow him.
...
PTZ panned the area including the hill that SHEILA snapped the other day, so I thought I'd post it... just for the record

Spot the female with Klive !!! She's in the nestcup and I think it's Asha but doesn't look anything like her in the early stages:
Klive was to 'n fro several times if a quick scroll doesn't deceive me.
This is more like it but she may look like the female who (it was decided) was not Asha the other day :-? She seems to be waiting for a fish, which would support a claim to her being Asha ;)
I am not doing any video till much later.
I will dare to say that is definitely Asha in your 09.45 pic, Scylla. I always think the dark area looks a bit like a heart shape, with two lines either side coming down to her beak. Taken on 3 May. And although it doesn't show well, there is the short white band above this.

What a coincidence - I just fished out this snap from early May to show how the "pattern" can vary, and it's exactly the same shot but cropped into less fine resolution !!!
I'm afraid I can't work - boringly, am too hot. I hope to return in finer fettle later.
